RIP MICHEAL JACKSON 1958 - 2009
MY WORDS COMING SOON ABOUT THIS GREAT LOSS
Welcome to LeT tHe fUnk fLOw!
Every Wed *NEW TIME* 8:30 - 10PM!!!!!!!
History - this concept started September of
2006 as a way for me to get back in touch
with my own freestyle. After dancing with a
troupe for 10 years I was feeling like I lost a
piece of what made me move and that it
was OK to be different. I didn't have to look
like everyone else. I could be "weird".
So I developed a class that would embrace
everything, every style and most important to
stay true to what you feel. It's not always
about the routine, but it's about the journey
within your steps.
This class will discipline you with intense
choreography and technique in street
rhythm, while allowing you to let movements
flow through your body. I am a mix breed of
all styles. I can't be something I am not, I can
only be what I am. So with me anything
goes. I like to just stay true to myself. I may
not be the most favorite or liked by all, but I
know what I feel. What I feel is real.
I have a gift to share and would love for you
to embrace my flow.
Session is every Wednesday, broken up
into 9 weeks. Yes walk ins are welcome.
You will need to pay cash or personal check,
no credit cards at this time.
The summer session starts
June 3rd July 29th for $90.
$12 Walk - ins
Payment is non refundable and classes do
not roll over into the next session.
However, I do understand that things happen
or come up and I am willing to work with you
on any situation. Just talk to me about your
issue and we will work it out, no problem.
Yes all walk-ins are welcome to take class!
We will start with a small warm up.
Some days we will travel across the floor.
Some days we will jump straight into
choreography.
I would like to start on time so please arrive
early. Since we are scheduled at a
NEW TIME class should begin close to
8:30pm. There is a class before ours.
Vibe time. The last 15min of class I turn the
lights out and we just get to move and find
our groove. Get in touch with your own
movement. Get lost, become free, and allow
yourself to "go there". It's also cool if your
new and just want to learn to move at your
next party or event but are to shy to do so.
This is your time.
Video: I do make videos to promote the
class and place them on youtube or now on
dancemtv. The videos usually start off with
me dancing in my kitchen and leads into the
class. You have the right not to be in the
video, just wanted to give you a heads up.
Performance - I have allowed students to
perform with me in my last 3 productions!
This is a great way to gain confidence and
to prepare you for other performances you
are trying to get into, or if you are trying to
dance in a professional dance troupe.
FYI: this is something that is earned by
hard work and focus in class.
I am going on my 4th year and so excited!
This year the class will be open to all levels,
however I will teach this at an intermediate
Advanced level pace.

RIP Tiffanie Reyes Washington 1977 - 2009
My angel, you were such a gift, so special to
my heart. I thought we had this one baby girl,
I thought we had this one. Never thought you
would pass away, I knew you were to strong,
I knew you had the shields of many angels,
and the power of God in you. Things turned
out differently for reasons that only a higher
power knows. I guess the heavens and the
universe knew just how important you were,
and needed you to do more for them. I want
to be selfish and keep you here with your
friends and family. You have been called and
you have answered.
I have never met an energy like yours.
So driven. So passionate. So loving.
So strong. So wise. So young.
You were so smart, knew how to play to
games of LA. Yes a Chicago girl took LA and
I was just so proud of you Tiffanie.
So proud of the woman you became and the
family you started.
Your faith gave me faith, your strength gave
me strength. You made me want to do more,
be more, become more. You never showed
fear to me about your cancer, you showed so
much pride and humbleness. I know what I
see in people.
I always knew from the days at Joel Hall
dance center that you were a star. You are so
much more than a star. Tiffanie you will live on
forever as a fighter, a messenger, a healer, a
voice that we need to do more for ourselves,
our families our friends our students our lives.
We all need to understand more about this
leukemia and how hospitals run. Thank you
Tiffanie for opening our ears, our eyes, our
hearts. Thank you Tiffanie for giving us the
strength to make change. Thank you my
beautiful angel, I know that you are in the
arms of God.
I truly see what God sees in you.
I am so happy that you are free from
frustration, pain, and the illness that was in
your body. I'm so happy the illness
never claimed your pride, heart, love,
faith, spirit or soul. Even though my heart will
cry sometimes, I will always dance every step
with you by my side.
Rest in piece my beautiful angel, you were a
gift and very special to my heart and the
hearts of so many across the world.
I love you VioLa
